One system. Most homes
For most homes, Orbi 770 is the recommended system. It combines fast WiFi 7, coverage across multiple floors and the capacity to keep a busy household running, without making you pay for performance you may not need.
Live in a mid-size or larger home, especially with multiple floors
Have rooms, basements, or backyards your current WiFi can't reach
Run a busy network - streaming, gaming, video calls, and smart-home devices at once
Want the latest WiFi 7 without stepping up to the premium tier
Value easy setup and managing everything from an app
From $549.99
More happening at home demands more from your WiFi.
Walls and distance make one router work harder to reach the entire household. Orbi 770 uses a router and satellites with enhanced backhaul to distribute high-performance WiFi across more of your home.
One router + extender
One signal, copied farther
An extender relays your router’s WiFi signal, allowing it to travel farther from the source. That signal can lose strength as it travels, leaving slow spots or dead zones.
Strong near the router and extender, weaker at the edges
Orbi 770 mesh
One coordinated network
The Orbi router and satellites work together as one network, helping your devices stay connected as you move through your home.
Strong, even coverage in every room
Pick the size of your home, not the size of your network
Same system, two sizes. Extend your coverage at any time with an additional satellite.
Most homes do best with the 3-pack. Need more reach later? Add an Orbi 770 satellite ($299.99) anytime - it joins the same network automatically, with no drop in performance.
*Coverage is a guide - real range varies with layout, walls, and construction.

Before you order
Orbi 770 is a strong fit for medium to large or multi-story homes. The 2-pack covers up to 5,500 sq. ft., while the 3-pack covers up to 8,000 sq. ft. Actual coverage varies based on your home's layout, walls and construction.
Both use tri-band WiFi 7. Orbi 770 reaches speeds up to 11 Gbps and is the recommended fit for most homes. Orbi 870 steps up to 21 Gbps, a 10 Gig internet port and more capacity for larger homes, multi-gig internet plans and heavier network use.
Orbi 770 uses WiFi 7 Multi-Link Operation (MLO) across its tri-band design to help keep communication between the router and satellites running smoothly. A separate band used only for backhaul is exclusive to Orbi 970.
Choose the 2-pack for medium-size homes, with coverage up to 5,500 sq. ft. Choose the 3-pack for larger or multi-story homes, with coverage up to 8,000 sq. ft. Actual coverage varies, and you can add a compatible Orbi 770 Series satellite later.
Yes. Tri-band WiFi 7 gives gaming, streaming and video calls room to run together, while 2.5 Gig Ethernet provides a fast wired option for a console or PC. Actual performance depends on your internet plan, device and network conditions.
Orbi 770 replaces your router, not the modem or gateway that connects your home to your internet service. It works with most providers when connected to compatible equipment, and the app guides you through setup.
The app guides you through connecting the router, placing each satellite and creating your network. Most households can complete setup in minutes without networking expertise.
No. Advanced Router Protection, WPA3 encryption and automatic updates are included from setup. Optional NETGEAR Armor™, powered by Bitdefender, extends protection across connected devices, privacy and personal data. A free trial is included, and a paid subscription is optional after the trial.
Yes. WiFi 7 is backward compatible, so devices using earlier WiFi generations can still connect. WiFi 7 devices can use the newest capabilities, while speed and performance vary by device.
