It combines quad-band WiFi 7, speeds up to 27 Gbps, a 10 Gig internet port and a dedicated backhaul band that gives router-to-satellite traffic its own fast lane. It is built for the largest homes, multi-gig internet plans and the busiest connected households.
It gives communication between the Orbi router and satellites its own band, so system traffic does not compete with your devices for the same space. That leaves more capacity for streaming, gaming, video calls and other connections, especially when your home is busiest.
The router covers up to 3,300 sq. ft., the 2-pack covers up to 6,600 sq. ft., and the 3-pack covers up to 10,000 sq. ft. Actual coverage varies based on your home's layout, walls and construction. You can add a compatible Orbi 970 Series satellite later.
Orbi 970 delivers combined WiFi speeds up to 27 Gbps and includes a 10 Gig internet port for multi-gig plans. The speed any one device sees will vary based on your internet plan, device capabilities, placement and network conditions.
